Yesterday.
My gosh, where did October go? Life has been sooo busy lately. I guess I have finally reached the age where I can truly say there aren't enough hours in a day to get everything done. This is just crazy...it's what old people say, right? Well, even old doesn't seem that old anymore. Am I finally growing up or growing old? I love my crazy life and I love the calmness that comes with it. It's funny to me now to look back at the things I use to worry about in my twenties...what kind of a job I should have, who I was gonna marry, where I was gonna live and what my kids would look like if I was ever blessed enough to have them. At twenty five, after seeing it on Oprah, I even bought a book called "Conquering Your Quaterlife Crisis"-Advice from twentysomethings who have been there and survived. Yes, I was a worry worm, still am even in my thirties, just now I worry about different things. Now I read books by Supernanny and I worry about my children and what schools to put them in and I worry they are growing up too quickly and that the time is flying by faster and faster each year. I have to remind myself to slow down and take a breath and just enjoy the moments that I have. These photos were taken exactly a year ago but it feels like it was just yesterday. I love sorting through the thousands of photos I have captured over the years and my goal is to publish some of them in between the newer ones I have taken or will be taking. Hopefully I will have a chance to post this years pumpkin patch photos soon as well. In the meantime, here is October 2010.

Baby Maren.
First I have to start off by saying how much I love babies. I would take pictures of them all day long if I could. There is nothing sweeter in this world than watching a baby sleep. I have always wondered what they dream about:). These pictures were taken about a month ago and she was just perfect!!! We hadn't planned on a full photo shoot since it was more of a play date with our older boys but I managed to get some really cute shots in between trying to keep Emily from smothering her with kisses or telling the boys to use their indoor voices:). I did finish taking pictures of her on another day and will post those ones in the future. In the mean time here is sweet little Maren:).

Welcome to my new blog!
Welcome to my new photography blog. I LOVE taking pictures, especially babies and children. You know, those little life moments you wish you could remember forever. I feel like time stands still for a second when I look at a picture I have captured. I will always have that moment, that second in time to look back at and never forget. I first started taking photos when my son was born and he is now four . These past four years I have taken thousands of pictures and I am now ready to take the next step and start capturing other peoples special little moments. I did think the first post should be about my own kids though:). I am a proud mama of two beautiful children who mean the world to me. These pictures were taken just a few days ago during our evening walk... no special outfits or props just good old family time. I hope you join me on this journey and come back often and watch me grow.
